1) House Natural Resources Committee Public Hearings on House Legislative Initiative 16-18 -- the initiative proposes to amend Article XI of the Constitution to authorize the Dept of Public Lands to reserve 20% of its operational funds to pay and satisfy land compensation claims. 2) Joint House/Senate session tomorrow, February 25 @ 9am in the House Chamber -- to consider the proposed land lease agreement between the Dept of Public Lands and Neo Goldwings Paradise. NGP is proposing to lease approximately 300 hectares of public land for a "Six Star 1,000-room mega hotel resort and casino in the Pina Area on Tinian."
3) House session tomorrow, February 25 @ 1:30pm in the House Chamber -- the draft agenda is attached.
4) House Health, Education & Welfare Committee meeting on Thursday @ 9:30am in the House Chamber -- the Northern Marianas College President and Board of Regents is expected to attend.
5) Senate session Thursday, February 26 @ 10am in the Senate Chamber -- the draft agenda is attached.
6) House Commerce and Tourism Committee meeting at 2pm in the Speaker's Conference Room
